Senior Quality Engineer

The Senior Quality Engineer will develop, administer and verify compliance to the business Quality Management System. They will provide specialist Quality System knowledge to ensure that the business delivers Program & Value Stream goals in compliance with customer, 3rd party and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining business compliance to Customer, 3rd Party (AS9100, NADCAP etc) and Regulatory (FAA etc) requirement
Ownership & Continuous Improvement of the business Quality Management System
Verification of compliance to business Quality Management System via various audit methodologies
Coordination and administration of records retention processes.
Perform supplier audits & assessments.
Resolve issues pertaining to vendor schedule and/or quality including.
Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances.
Creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Program Quality Plans. Maintain positive, team relationships with internal and external customers, as well as co-workers
Continuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives
Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Expect up to 10% travel in this role depending upon location and business needs
About you
Required Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, in lieu of degree 7+ years' experience in the manufacturing/quality engineering field
5+ years' experience in the manufacturing/quality engineering field
1 year of quality experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier
1 year of experience with AS9100, NADCAP, etc. or equivalent regulatory requirements
U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements.
Additional Qualifications:
Aerostructures (metallics and/or composites) experience preferred.
Relentless and results driven performer with a Continuous Improvement mind-set.
Certified auditor preferred
A dynamic individual with a high level of energy, a proactive self-starter who is confident and able to work independently.
Proven capability to work independently in a range of different manufacturing environments.
Superior interpersonal skills, delivers information clearly and factually. Capable of adjusting to situation or audience.
Team worker with aptitude for mentoring and coaching.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers
Demonstrates personal leadership skills; high performance behaviors, self-initiative, excellent work ethic, exercises good judgment, influencing, negotiation and collaboration.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
