Manufacturing Engineer - Tallassee, AL
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for completing daily technical assignments required to support multiple project team assignments and objectives an aerospace manufacturing facility. Independently evaluate, select and apply standard and non-standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in making adaptations and modifications to support team objectives. Participate in dialogue regarding specific and detailed technical objectives, including the preparation of oral and written reports.
Any or all of the following; first article development, configuration changes that involve revised work instructions, schedule coordination and process implementation.
Responsible for ensuring formed parts or tools are in line with company and customer supplied quality assurance standards.
Continuous process improvement via work instructions, statistical process control (SPC), engineering process changes and tooling design orders.
Maintain positive teaming relationship with internal and external customers, as well as co-workers.
Responsible for multiple projects (with associated tasks) that utilize specific knowledge and engineering principles to develop designs and robust manufacturing processes within a well-defined time span.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a corporate culture, which supports the Company's overall business objectives and goals, by providing leadership in issues that involve "Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory".
B.S. degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 7 years experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
Experience with ERP system maintenance
Experience with engineering drawing changes.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Computer literate in Excel, Word, Access, Project and PowerPoint.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
