Job SummaryProvide Commercial Leadership and direction for Program Specific customer accounts and interface with the customer on all relevant contractual matters.
Work in tandem with the Program Director to drive new business opportunities taking accountability for the commercial viability of each opportunity.
Plays a key role in negotiation strategy and execution of the strategy.
Takes the lead on claims management.
Acts as an escalation point for commercial resolution of customer issues.
Job Responsibilities Take the lead role in identifying and managing risk, through contract negotiation, change management, ensuring appropriate pricing and protection is in place.
Contributes to the development and implementation of a commercial strategy.
Ensure that the appropriate policies and procedures for successful Commercial practice are adhered to.
Manages the interface between GKN and its customers to resolve day to day commercial issues and build a strong customer relationship.
Takes responsibility and accountability for the commercial performance of the program.
Mentor to other members of the Commercial team to increase the knowledge and skill base.
Ensure effective commercial change management control, pricing, negotiation and contracts are in place.
Ensure customer overdue debt is minimized and that customers pay in accordance with their contractual obligations and where possible maximize cash flow through contracting arrangements with the customer.
Ensures that all Bids and Proposals are prepared in accordance with the GKN Aerospace Bid Process.

years of experience of identifying contractual risk and proposing effective mitigation strategieso5
years of experience of drafting and negotiating NDAs Preferred
Qualifications:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
